Quality control and FSC certification
A honeycomb roll is only as good as the paper it starts from and the cut that opens it. This is what we check, and how you can check us.
We have made packaging in Jaipur since 1997. In that time I have learned one simple thing about complaints. Most of them start before production, at the raw material.
This is why our checks begin with the paper reel, not with the finished roll.
What we check, and when

Raw paper gets the most testing of all, because no die-cut can fix a weak sheet.
A moisture-controlled plant
Paper takes water from the air. Damp honeycomb paper loses stiffness, so the cells fold flat sooner and tear more easily.
Our honeycomb paper is made and stored in a moisture-controlled plant. The rolls are wrapped before they leave the line, and pallets are stretch-wrapped before loading. Jaipur has a dry climate for most of the year, but the monsoon is real here too, and we plan for it.

Strength is what keeps your cost down
Buyers often come to us after trying a cheaper roll. The story is almost always the same. The paper was weak, so it tore in the dispenser and on the product. The packers then wrapped each item twice, and the paper used per order went up.
A cheaper roll that you use more of is not cheaper. Trust me, the only number that matters is the cost of paper per order. Our guide to working out consumption shows how to measure it on your own line.
Paper grade tolerance and acid-free paper
We hold paper grade to ±5 GSM of the grade on your order, and we check it on every lot. Acid-free paper, for museums, archives and antiques, can be supplied on request.
FSC chain of custody certificate
Jagannath Polymers holds an FSC® chain of custody certificate (licence code FSC® C193292), audited by SGS. Our FSC honeycomb paper wrap is sold with the claim FSC Recycled 100%: the paper is made from 100% recycled fibre.

Please check it yourself. Search our certificate code on FSC Search, FSC's public database. It shows the status, our address in Jaipur and the product types covered.
An FSC claim reaches you only through the invoice. On an FSC order, our invoice carries our certificate code and the FSC claim for each line. If those two are missing, there is no FSC claim, whatever a brochure says.
What we will not claim
We do not call any product "eco-friendly" without saying why. Plain honeycomb paper is paper, and it can go into paper recycling in most countries. That is a fact you can use. "Biodegradable" and "compostable" are different claims with their own test standards, and we do not make them for this product.

Questions buyers ask
Can you send test results with our shipment?
Ask for them when you order. We test every lot, so the numbers exist. Tell us which values your quality team wants to see (GSM, roll weight, moisture, or all of them) and we will agree the format before the first container.
Is all your honeycomb paper FSC certified?
No. FSC is an option, not the default. An FSC claim exists only when it is written on our invoice, next to our certificate code. If you need FSC, say so in your enquiry and we will quote the FSC grade.
Which FSC claim do you supply?
Our FSC honeycomb paper goes out with the claim FSC Recycled 100%, made from 100% recycled fibre. Tell us if your own customer asks for a different claim and we will tell you honestly whether we can supply it.
Do I need my own FSC certificate?
Only if you want to pass the FSC claim on to your customers on your invoices, or print the FSC label on your own packaging. For your own use, our claim on our invoice is enough. If you are a distributor who resells under the FSC claim, check with your certification body before you order.
